Dr. Dustin R. Coles is a speaker, teacher, author and orthodontic specialist. Dr. Coles has lectured to groups of several thousand orthodontists from all over the U.S. and Abroad.
Since founding Premier Orthodontics in 2006 he has personally helped over 10,000 patients here in Arizona. He has also helped more children through the Smiles Change Lives non-profit organization than any other doctor in Arizona.
Dr. Coles was awarded the prestigious Invisalign Case Shootout Award and was named the Top Invisalign Provider in North America. Dr. Coles was also honored to receive the Ginny Award from the Smiles Change Lives Foundation for his commitment to donate $600,000 worth of orthodontic treatment to underprivileged children living in Arizona each year.
Premier Orthodontics at last count has over 20,000 satisfied parents with patients traveling from hours away for their treatment. Asked what makes his practice different, Coles quickly replied with a warm smile, “It’s our passion in giving patients an amazing experience and our commitment to do whatever it takes to serve our patients and their families.” He continued, “even if that means referring them to a non-profit foundation, such as Smile Change Lives, when parents are unable to afford treatment at Premier Orthodontics.”
Dr. Dustin Coles completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. He went on to receive his D.D.S. with distinction from Creighton University School of Dentistry, graduating first in his class. Dr. Coles then completed his certificate of advanced graduate study in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Tyler J. Coles is an author, lecturer, and orthodontic specialist. Since Premier Orthodontics, Dr. Tyler Coles has played an integral part of Premier Orthodontics’ award winning practice, five-star patient experience, and has treated hundreds of children through the Smiles Change Lives Foundation.
Dr. Tyler Coles authors two monthly publications – one monthly newsletter that is delivered to over 5000 homes of Premier Orthodontics’ patients, and one professional newsletter that is delivered to over 300 dental professionals in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Along with his brother Dustin, Dr. Tyler Coles regularly provides continuing education and training to dentists and dental hygienists in Arizona.
Asked what he enjoys most about his job, Dr. Tyler Coles responded, “Being able to change someone’s smile can literally change their life. Having self-confidence and a great smile can open more doors and provide more opportunities than you may realize. We are lucky to provide this service every day for the children and adults in our communities.”

Dr. Hemali Kothari is an orthodontic specialist with additional training in the treatment of children with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial disorders. When not working at Premier Orthodontics, Dr. Kothari is on staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital and works in the Barrow Cleft and Craniofacial Center. She is one of only a few orthodontists in Arizona that regularly treats children with these type of orthodontic problems.
When asked what the most rewarding aspect of her career is, she replied “Being able to help those who need it most. This is the reason why I work so closely with the Barrow Cleft and Craniofacial Center and also why I am thrilled to work with those patients in the Smiles Change Lives Foundation. As orthodontists we are able to provide treatment that can have such a great impact on a persons’ life.”
